Volvo Cars:

Volvo Cars have been an engaged Mitt Liv partner since 2009, and over the years they have received and benefited from strategic guidance, network meetings, lectures, mentorship in Mitt Livs Chans, D&I information emails and marketing.

During the course of their collaboration with Mitt Liv, Volvo Cars have also chosen to expand their basic partnership with a number of additional services involving competence development in relation to D&I, including a training program in inclusive leadership and recruitment, and a D&I game:

I can strongly recommend the workshop Inclusive Recruitment facilitated by Claire Karlsson. We wanted to get a common platform of knowledge as well as a lot of inspiration and during our session we got both. Two hours where we were challenged to think in new ways, facing our biases and how we secure diversity in the different aspects of recruitment. Claire’s curious and knowledgeable approach sets the standard and helped us out of our comfort zones. Now it’s time to get to work, deep diving into our processes with our new tools from the workshop.

Consulting assignments for competence development:

2017–2018: Training program in inclusive leadership for more than 375 managers/leaders at the company’s factories in Torslanda and Skövde

By taking part in 3–5 modules, the participants were provided with knowledge, understanding and tools for managing and leading their employees and team members through a more inclusive work approach.

2019: A D&I game in the form of conversation cards at Volvo Cars Torslanda

The conversation cards consisted of different modules which the managers and team leaders could bring out and use in their teams during short periods of downtime, as a simple way of highlighting diversity and inclusion issues and creating a dialogue.

2021: Training program in inclusive recruitment for all management teams at Volvo Cars Torslanda

An interactive training program that covered the aim of inclusive recruitment, mental mechanisms and unconscious bias, views on competence, and inclusion in the existing process with focus on candidate selection and interviews.

2021: Digital lecture on inclusive recruitment for recruitment specialists in Europe and China
