Axelerate, a tailor-made leadership development program initiated by Axel Johnson group officially started yesterday. The program is specifically aimed for international talents in Sweden with leadership experience and good business sense. Twenty-three participants representing 18 countries will get the chance to increase their knowledge about leadership in Sweden and insights of Axel Johnson group and its subsidiaries during the 6 months long program.
The first day of the program opened with presentation round of all 23 participants and the organizers of Axelerate. Henrietta Bean and Mohamud Osman from Mitt Liv then held a workshop themed 'Swedish Culture and Mindset'. Axel Johnson group CEO Mia Brunell Livfors welcomed the participants with a presentation of the company covering the history, insights, goals and future ambitions of Axel Johnson. Her presentation was followed by Axel Johnson's sustainability agenda presented by Kerem Yazgan, Head of Communications and Sustainability.
After intensive presentations and workshops, the participants listened to representatives from several of Axel Johnson group subsidiaries; Axfood, Axel Johnson International, Dustin, KICKS, Martin & Servera, Novax and Åhlens. The day ended with mingle and networking opportunities for the international talents.
